Taking Part

This page has information for people who might be interested in joining the PREPARE KIDS study.

Who can take part?

Children aged 5-14 years awaiting elective lower limb surgery (hips to toes excluding toenail surgery)

Participants will be excluded if:

  • they are receiving a physiotherapy programme which replicate the content of PREPARE KIDS
  • they and/or their parent(s)/guardian(s) are unable to comply with assessment procedures
  • they have previously participated in the PREPARE KIDS study
